Hi, I'm Karen Jardim - the bookkeeper behind Jardim & Co.
I was born and raised in South Africa, and after building a life and career across different industries, I found my way to bookkeeping and never looked back. Today I'm proudly based in Boynton Beach, Florida, where I live with my husband and our 3 beautiful adult children.
I started Jardim & Co. because I genuinely believe that small business owners in South Florida and beyond deserve to feel calm and confident about their finances. Not overwhelmed. Not confused. Not dreading the end of the month.
I'm a City & Guilds Certified Bookkeeper at Levels 1, 2, and 3, and a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor serving small businesses across Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. I've put in the hours - the study, the exams, the real-world practice, because I take this work seriously.
But credentials aside, what I care most about is the person across the table. My job is to make sure the numbers side of things never slows you down.

The dragonfly in my logo isn't just decoration. It's meaningful to me. Dragonflies represent transformation, clarity, and calm. Those are exactly the things I hope to bring to every client I work with.
When I started Jardim & Co., I wanted a symbol that reflected not just what I do, but how I want my clients to feel - like something has shifted, cleared, and settled. Like they can breathe again when it comes to their finances.
